Blocking the Invisible Enemy

Houston Galleria
January 17, 2004

The International Shaolin Wushu Center assisted in bringing Hepatitis B awareness to the Houston Community in "Hepatitis B - Blocking the Invisible Enemy."

The event was held in the newly built wing of the Houston Galleria in front of stores such as Foley's, Nordstrom's, Urban Outfitters, and Armani Exchange.

Hepatitis B is the most common serious liver infection in the world, caused by the hepatitis B virus that attacks the liver. The virus is transmitted through blood and infected bodily fluids. Luckily, there exists a simple blood test to determine if you have been infected, and also a safe and effective vaccine to protect you and your loved ones against infection.

For more information, refer to the Hepatitis B Awareness website, which is also available in Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean.
